The long, dusty unlit driveway leading from the pad. Also, the only place within the vicinity of the house where one could get any cell phone reception (cell phones aren't big down there, blame most of it on politics-as-usual in terms of where to put the cell phone attenas.

Boogie boards against the side of the house. Boogie boarding a-k-a surfing for po' folks is the easier of the two sports to get into (think snowboarding versus skiing). You basically take a professionally crafted, mature version of a kid's flotation device, given the name "boogie board" and you ride waves, like a surfer. The hardest part is hitting the wave right to ride it in, an issue hard around the Cape since "good" waves are few and far in between. This wasn't Lisa and I's first time boogie boarding, though. Lisa, Antonio and I got a taste, through Jai of course, of the sport on the Spring Break Trip back in March.
Hannah and Amber at Marconi Beach. Jai promised women "as pretty as the ones in Miami, although not as many." Well, these were the the only two we could find, and Lisa. I guess on the Cape you bring your own.
