Vehicle # Date Shift  Driven *1 Time of Day Remarks
18 10/27/02 Driver Change 21.00-21.15 Hampshire College to Garage after shift 31PM (see 3101).
11/12/02 Driver Change 12.45-13.00 Garage to Haigis Mall for Drug Test pick-up, myself to go drive the first loop of 23PM (see 3009) for that operator while she was being tested. This was a paid Driver Change (Extra Time).
11/19/02 Driver Change 21.35-21.45 Haigis Mall to Garage after 22EVE2 partial (see 3009).
12/8/02 Open DT 9.20-10.15 As part of my "Open Driver Training" (see 3123), made a run from the Garage to Hampshire College to deliver passenger surveys to the Route 39 driver (shift 31AM) arriving at 9.40. Needless to say, they were all for the PM and EVE of 31.
M-213 10/23/02 Field Trip 14.00-18.00 "South Deerfield Basin," 6-stop trip with Geosciences 101 class. Operator Tobey, a member of that class, sat right behind me.
M-215 10/1/02 FT Qualification 12.00-13.30 Proctored by D. Edwards. Passed!
10/28/02 Field Trip 17.00-22.00 Dropping off trick-or-treating children at their prospective schools in Springfield and Holyoke. On this not-to-cold, but still fog-up-the-windshield kind of night, I unfortunately got the '99 with really slow defrosters, so basically when my right hand wasn't shifting, it was holding a rag wiping the windshield. Out of grace as a Community Leader for the Northeast Area Government who was hosting the children in the Dwight/Leach/Hamlin Dorms, 3/5 of that time I personally volunteered to save on costs. N. Roza in M-213 did both pickups.
11/20/02 Field Trip 14.00-18.00 More fun with the "ooo look.. a rock!" Geosci. 101 class, this time to Ryan's Hill and Mt Toby. I don't know why I didn't take M-213!--it started to snow on the way back and the roads fogged up reducing visibility to about 20 feet. Add to that the slow defrosters (see above), and visibility was more like five feet. Nevertheless we all live to talk of it and no morons who can't take turns (see 3033 for 11/6/02).
M-251 10/27/02 Driver Change 20.05-20.20 Garage to shift 31PM at Hampshire College (see 3101).
11/17/02 Training 8.00-10.00 First to the secret underground entrance to the Campus Center for I-don't-even-remember, then to Dunkies for doughnuts and coffee/hot chocolate, then back to the Garage, then to the Stadium course where we shoveled and did doughnuts, then back to the Garage (see 3123 for 11/17/02). Only Lapointe (afternoon trainer) was upset.
M-407 10/25/02 Driver Change 20.16 To Garage after shift 23EVE1 (see 3009).
3101 10/27/02 31PM 20.20-21.00 Cover for Padell. (See M-251 and 18 for Driver Changes to/from Hampshire College).
3103 9/29/02 31EVE 20.35-10.15
40' RTS Buses, the '92's
UMass Transit's buses build in 1992 are currently the oldest members of the transit fleet still in active service. They are most closely related to the MBTA 8700-8800 fleet, with respect to the 6V71TA V-6 engine with the below-engine tailpipe. They are also very related to all all buses in the MBTA RTS fleet and unlike the UMTS RTS fleet in that  they feature "sliding," not folding doors;  they have push tape rather than pull cords; and have the older style of  destination sign control. Unfortunately, also like most MBTA buses, all these buses are tagged with scratched-on graffiti; although on these buses it is confined to the back portions of the buses, accumulating on the last windows on both sides and on the rear armrests. Occasionally they also have marker-ed graffiti on the rear sidewalls. The buses are primarily put on Route 38, however they may also be found occasionally on Routes 30 and/or 31 during rush hours when the '93's and 95's run out; from time to time they do RTS field trips. Comparing the 6V71TA engine to the 4-cylinder series 50 engine on the '95's and '99's is like comparing a Crown Vic to a Mustang--they former don't necessarily get up to speed as fast, but as a trade-off, the automatic tranny is a lot smoother and quieter, making these buses my second personal favorite behind the '93's. Besides that, these venerable beasts with a minimum of 300,000+ miles on all of them have very loose power steering so they drive luck old boats (or old land-boats), and that gives them a unique character.
3007 10/6/01 21PM 13.30-16.30
9/5/02 23EVE1 16.00-20.15
9/9/02 22EVE 17.00-20.00
9/23/02 22EVE 17.00-20.00
9/25/02 21MID 10.30-13.30 Lure of "ice cream on top of Mt. Sugarloaf" provides for heavy pick-ups and drop-offs to and from the Notch/Holyoke Range and Mount Holyoke College stops for both loops; no complaints here about the excess number of pretty riders.
10/2/02 21MID 10.30-13.30
10/9/02 21MID 10.30-13.30
10/29/02 23AM 7.00-7.15 RO help for a 25 minute late B. Gentry. They tried to give me the first loop, but I had a 9 o' clock class. Gentry arrives just after bus is making right onto Holdsworth Way, Winger at the wheel.
11/5/02 22EVE 17.00-20.00 No heat on a rather cold night--sucked!
11/13/02 22EVE 18.30-20.00 Can't get enough o' that shift 22EVE!
11/15/02 22PM 14.00-15.30 More Drug Test coverage of Route 38 (see 3009 for 11/12/02)!
12/2/02 22EVE 17.00-20.00 Shift started a Garage at about 14.54; RO Cournoyer gave me 3011; however when doing speedy circle check, left head light out in low-beam mode (works in hi-beam mode, of course). Wound up taking one of the "Dumbos" (M-407 or M-408) to Haigis Mall instead of 3011--no swap. Relieved Operator Carroll takes "Dumbo," not 3007 back to Garage.
12/19/02 22AM 6.25-11.00 I don't know how Linhoss did it yesterday (see 3008 yesterday)--man, this is early. The second of only two AM shifts all semester covered from start-finish (the first being 2AM, see 3046 for 12/17/02). Cover for Sterling.
3008 9/16/02 22EVE 17.00-20.00
10/7/02 21EVE2 22.15-23.55
10/14/02 22EVE 17.00-20.00
11/1/02 23EVE1 16.00-21.30 Shift ran over a whole 1 1/4 hours due to Halloween Party mayhem at Hampshire College: all vehicles able to use only the front entrance to Hampshire College (back entrance barricaded), creating a back-up that started small, but ended up spilliing onto 116 both ways. A security booth run by Amherst Police and overseen by Hampshire College Security was at the recently-put-in stop sign at the 4-way intersection. All passengers in private vehicles were requited to produce Hampshite College ID or be on the "guestlist." All passengers getting off buses, vans and other HOV's at Hampshire College were also ID'ed. This did not apply to passengers transferring to/from Route 39 (unit 32). The PM shift of Route 39 ran about 2 1/4 hours over. After much prodding of the RO and RO observee, a second bus was dispatched to Smith to handle a multitude of irate passengers at Smith who were shafted when the Smith-bound Route 39 bus was sent back to Mount Holyoke at about 21.45 after servicing Hampshire to try to get it back on schedule (no way, obviously). Two highly annoyed Smith-bound passengers were on that bus.
12/18/02 22AM 9.30-11.00 The previous evening's RO had actually suckered Linhoss into getting up after a late night of studying for a 10.30 final this day to drivie the shift from it start at 6.25 until 9.30, leaving her barely an hour to wind down before her final!
12/18/02 22EVE 18.30-20.00 Gee, this shift looks familiar (Mondays all semester). So's the bus, from this morning.
3009 9/18/02 21MID 10.30-13.30
9/30/02 22EVE 17.00-20.00
10/7/02 22EVE 17.00-20.00
10/16/02 22EVE 17.00-20.00 A Monday schedule after Columbus Day. First missed Drivers' Meeting. I was declared "Employee of the Month for September" while I was out moving the lovely ladies of MHC in the driving rain.
10/25/02 23EVE1 16.00-20.15
10/28/02 21MID 10.30-12.00 Covered an open partial.
10/30/02 21MID 10.30-13.30
11/12/02 23PM 13.00-14.30 Paid as Extra Time, covering for Drug Testing for Laine (see 18 for Driver Change to Haigis Mall).
11/12/02 23EVE1 16.00-18.55 Just can't get enough! Almost drove the whole shift, but Bradford showed up at 18.55 ready to drive; I had totally forgotten I was only on for the first half!
11/18/02 22EVE 17.00-20.00
11/19/02 23EVE2 20.15-21.35 Two nights in a row (see above)! This was one of the few '92's working at the time, unfortunately. Shiftwise, this was all Operator Troie could partial away supposedly. Every week Monday after finishing my 22EVE shift, he would be at the Gargage trying to get rid of all of this shift, especially that "annoying last loop." Maybe my taking the first loop made his life a little easier. (see 18 for Driver Change to Garage).
11/27/02 21MID 10.30-13.30
11/27/02 21PM 13.30-16.30 Last shift before a late Thanksgiving the following day. I had tried many times to get out of the 14PM shift usually succeeding my 21MID shift, but to no avail. This day, I managed to get out of it, though, thanks again, and took this shorter shift so I could recoup some of the money, yet have time afterward to finish packing before my dorm closed.
12/7/02 Training 7.54-12.01 Trained Simon. First time with him since just before his Road Test (see 3123 for 11/24/02). His first time with a '92.
12/20/02 21PM 15.00-16.30 You know me, can't end the semester, and 2002, and the week, without without one more turn of the big wheel! So Hume graciously gave up the second half of her shift. See y'all next year!
3010 9/11/02 21MID 12.12-13.30 Swapped in for 3011. Time was made up :)
10/21/02 22EVE 17.00-20.00 "The Caddy"
11/25/02 22EVE 17.00-20.00
11/26/02 23EVE1 16.00-20.15
12/4/02 21MID 14.21-18.17
12/9/02 22EVE 17.00-20.00
3011 9/11/02 21MID 10.30-12.12 Swapped out at 12.00 by Maldonado at Haigis Mall because it was kneeled for an elderly passenger and wouldn't un-kneel. The replacement bus, 3010 is 12 minutes late. At least nothing too serious happened on this most solemn of days.
10/23/02 21MID 10.30-13.30
11/4/02 22EVE 17.00-20.00 Bus pulls to right when braking, making things even more of a slip 'n slide in the wet leaves at Amherst College.
11/6/02 21MID 10.30-13.30 A bus with heat on a cold day--awesome! (see 3007 on 11/5/02)
11/13/02 21MID 10.30-13.30
3112 10/26/02 XEVE1 16.43-21.14 In between morning Training (see 3122) and this shift I managed to make it to the Springfield RMV and the dealership in Springfield to pick up the '91 Cavalier and replace the '84 Buick LeSabre Limited in my Employee of the Month parking spot.
11/8/02 YMID 10.52-13.52
11/16/02 Training 8.00-12.15 Taught a "Lesson 1" to Scire and Scott. Yay! Doubled-up lessons accomplish a lot--at least I drove the circle check home.. and they could back up without hitting cones.
11/16/02 Training 13.00-17.30 Taught a "Lesson 2" to Osbourne and Alford. One off-track apiece at Dallas Mall, not bad. Had Osbourne drive back to the Garage with the snow cover--gotta get their feet wet.
12/13/02 YMID 10.52-13.52 "Everyone's on Voice Fallback" was the worst that happened to me all shift on this Friday the 13th. And that was nothing new...
3113 9/9/02 XPM 16.00-16.45
9/9/02 EVE2 22.17 Just a passenger.
11/19/02 AM 7.20 Just a passenger. Caught Southbound Shuttle at the Comp. Sci. stop, rode to GRC/Northeast.
11/20/02 21MID 10.30-13.30 A '99 on Route 38--sure! Actually there were very common on the route, although I didn't drive many on that route, due to various issues with the venerable '92's. 3007 went out of commission at 10.10 at the Hampshire College Circle, inbound for UMass. Apparently there was a transmission fluid leak. It was still being serviced with Training Manager Chapman inside and Head Mechanic McCulloch tinkering in the engine compartment at 10.50 when I passed through outbound to Mount Holyoke College. My bus came from the Garage; no word on how 21AM Operator Lafontaine or his passengers got to UMass; it is highly probable Chapman brought a temporary bus to HC; McCulloch had his own pickup.
12/5/02 BMID 10.50-12.44 From the words of the previous operator: "Heat was working fine, then it broke." Same thing happened to me! It wasn't working, then I turned it on, it would worked  for about 15 minutes, then quit!
12/13/02 AM 7.35 Just a passenger. Apparently good things do happen on a "Friday the 13th." I was running out of Lot 45 after parking my car and Operator Driver on Southbound Shuttle actually saw me and pulled into the Comp. Sci. stop Thanks again!
12/15/02 Training 8.00-12.15 Trained Alford; covering for Winger.
3114 11/25/02 PM 16.53 Just a passenger, on my way to 22EVE shift at Haigis Mall (see 3010). A Southbound Shuttle.
3116 9/21/02 Training 16.43-21.14 Trainer observation. Observed by Amoroso. Trained Webster.
10/4/02 YMID 10.52-13.52
10/4/02 YMID 13.52-14.33 Cover for part of an un-taken open.
10/5/02 Training 8.00-12.00 Last training observation. Observed by Halter. Taught a "Lesson 1" to Simon.
11/9/02 Training 13.00-17.30 Trained O'Connor.
11/11/02 Training 8.00-12.00 8 o' clock on a Monday! Was supposed to be bus 3113, but it was not written on the defect sheet and I didn't glance at the clipboard itself. I guess I just took 3116 out of habit, due to having it that past Saturday (see above).
11/23/02 Training 9.00-12.15 Trained Osbourne.
11/23/02 Training 13.00-17.45 Trained Ware.
3117 9/24/02 APM 15.48-17.16 Shift ran over by half an hour.
10/25/02 YMID 10.52-13.52
10/30/02 XEVE2 1.14 Just a passenger, back to Northeast after parking my car.
12/4/02 XEVE1 18.30 Just a passenger; Firth at the wheel.
3118 9/9/02 AAM 9.56-10.35
9/9/02 AMID 10.35-12.11

10/5/02 XEVE1 16.43-21.14
10/19/02 XEVE1 16.43-21.14 Observed Reis for the second time today (see 3042), at 18.27.
10/28/02 Fueling 22.45-23.00 For RO.
11/15/02 YMID 10.52-13.52
3119 10/12/02 XEVE1 16.43-21.14
10/30/02 BEVE 19.11-19.59 Looks like I got "tricked" into getting the one bus with the brakes that stick and rumble. No shifts for me on Halloween itself.
11/14/02 BEVE 16.55-19.59 Cover for Gonzalez. Brakes still suck (see above)!
12/6/02 YMID 10.52-13.52 Occasionally service does work wonders--the brakes no longer stick! Well at least for now--towards the end of the shift, the brakes were starting to show a little more resistance.
12/7/02 Training 13.00-17.15 Trained Woolley. Brakes still holding up!
12/10/02 BMID 12.26-13.50
12/11/02 21MID 10.30-13.30 Last time for the semester driving this assigned shift. The 35' bus was more than adequate for the decreased volume of passengers riding.
3120 9/14/02 XEVE1 16.43-21.14
9/21/02 XEVE1 16.43-21.41
10/11/02 YMID 10.52-13.52

11/2/02 Training 13.00-17.15 Trained Lattanzio.
12/9/02 YMID 10.52-11.33
3121 9/17/02 APM 15.48-16.46
9/27/02 YMID 10.52-13.52
10/6/02 XEVE1 16.43-21.14 Cover for G. Parteer.
3122 9/13/02 YMID 10.52-13.52
9/20/02 YMID 10.52-13.52
10/3/02 XEVE1 17.49-21.14 Cover for Utt.
10/3/02 XEVE2 21.14-21.45 Cover for a late Yoon.
10/14/02 PM 16.55 Just a passenger. Bus displaying "Bus Garage via Mass. Av." Operator: J. Bradford.
10/16/02 Training 7.45-12.00 Trained Mabee.
11/1/02 YMID 10.52-13.52 Driver Change done at GRC due to rerouting for southbound buses onto Stockbridge Road--construction issues at Stockbridge Road/FAC stops.
11/1/02 YPM 13.52-15.42 Cover for no-show operator. Driver change at 15.42 done at GRC (see above). Would have finished shift, but was already scheduled for shift 23EVE1 at 16.00 (see 3008).
11/10/02 Training 13.00-17.30 Trained Lattanzio. Taking lunch at Worcester Dining Commons I actually ran into him there first.
12/6/02 BEVE 18.26-19.59 Originally Cournoyer's shift; "suddenly" opened--I believe she was covering a field trip with the marching band. This was the earliest I could start, given finishing up my 11PM shift (see 3028).
12/14/02 Training 13.00-17.30 Trained Hern, an excellent pre-test. My morning trainee had cancelled ahead of time, so no "Open Driving Training"
3123 10/1/02 BEVE 16.55-19.59
11/17/02 Training 8.00-12.00 Trained Ziegler. Let's discuss what really happened: it snowed a slushy mess the night before so all the trainers except L.H. Sterling shoveled out the Loading Dock maneuver before realizing it's a fruitless task. Then we did doughnuts with M-251 (see M-251) in the Stadium course before heading back to go refresh circle checks to our trainees who had been *watching* the Drug Video with Sterling.
11/24/02 Training 8.00-12.15 Trained Simon. This was his last training session before his Road Test so the pressure was on! Needless to say I did my Train Mon best and he passed!
11/24/02 Training  13.00-17.30 Trained Hutton
12/8/02 Training 13.00-17.27 Trained Alford. Morning Trainee Scire called in "sick," wound up in "Open Driving Training (DT)," stocking bus schedules and info on 75% of the fleet and running a passenger survey over to Route 39 (Shift 31AM) at Hampshire College using Car 18 (see 18).
3027 10/24/02 4MID 11.01-12.15 Best of the '95's! That afternoon I purchased my '91 Chevy Cavalier.
10/30/02 14PM 13.36-18.25
12/5/02 AM 10.08 Just a passenger. Old Belchertown Road-bound bus (Route 30).
3028 12/5/02 AM 10.29 Just a passenger; return trip from town (see 3027 right above). Mendes at the wheel.
12/6/02 11PM 14.06-18.02 A day later I drive her for the first time all semester.
3029 9/10/02 2PM 16.06-18.46
3030 10/11/02 13PM 14.16-19.01 Cover for Paulman.
3031 14.06-18.02 11PM 14.06-18.02 Mabe hopped on at the GRC with me at 14.05 for an observation; an after 2 attempts (and 1 from previous Route 30 operator), he passes! Hey, it was his last observation; he was beat, I guess.
3032 9/25/02 AM 10.10 Just a passenger. Most likely a Route 30 bus.
3033 11/6/02 14PM 13.36-17.20 My first time driving this bus all semester... and my last. First, there was no heat (just defrost). Then on my last loop out to Old Belchertown Road, I approach the GRC bus stop and barely clip a woman and her passenger on her left rear bumper as she's entering the small parking lot just before the GRC stop. The woman was apparently too fixated on a straight truck exiting the small parking lot to notice a pedestrian who just-so-happened to jump out in the middle of the crosswalk as she was turning in, causing her to slam on her brakes, and thus me to slam on the buses brakes except that 20 tons can't come to a stop as quickly as 5, especially in the rain-slicked icy weather; and despite very quick and decisive maneuvering, the accident did happen. Slam on your brakes=dumb, think and LOOK ahead so you don't upset vehicles especially, especially ones 5 TIMES your size. Nevertheless I wasn't cited. 3033 went out of service as of 17.20; another bus and operator finished the shift to 18.25; I spent almost an hour dealing with Amherst Police and then another 2 1/4 hours at the Garage filling out the triple paperwork. Another accident happened shortly after near Amherst College involving a Route 38 bus. That operator was cited (driving in the median--ok, even cops do it--where're the lawyers?!)
3035 11/5/02 11MID 12.51-14.06
12/3/02 11MID 10.51-12.50 Brakes have much to be desired. Alston finished the shift to 14.06.
12/4/02 12PM 14.21-18.17 My old favorite shift. Previous Operator: Utt. Cover for Burke.
3037 11/21/02 PM 16.53 Just a passenger. Return trip to Northeast (see 3043 for 11/21/02). North Amherst-bound bus, Skorupa at the wheel.
12/2/02 11MID 10.51-12.32 10-23 (wheelchair-bound passenger) at 11.00 from Town Hall to Amherst Glass.
3038 9/20/02 12PM 14.21-18.17 Cover for Bishop.
9/23/02 1PM 15.53-16.30
9/24/02 12MID 11.06-14.21 Cover for Wolfman.
10/6/02 1MID *2 11.35-15.41 11.35-15.41
10/18/02 11PM 14.06-18.02 Covered an opened shift.
11/14/02 4MID 11.01-12.51 New radio sucks!
12/19/02 3MID 12.00-13.52 Hope you did well on that Accounting final, Bishop (was hers). Driver had the first part of the shift. Apparently nobody at the Garage was watching me speed on the GPS display, hehe (just kidding).
3039 9/11/02 14PM 13.36-18.25
9/25/02 12PM 14.50-18.17 Swapped in for 3041.
9/26/02 5PM 14.23-18.46 After shift ended, guy and his girl heading southbound on North Pleasant Street swerve in a moderate rain to miss an oncoming car and wind up hitting sign at Morrill bus stop as car skids straight up onto paved entrance to Morrill.
11/13/02 14PM 13.36-18.25 Although a "13th" of the month, shift goes smoothly as compared to last week (see 3033 for 11/6/02).
3040 9/10/02 12MID 11.06-14.21
9/10/02 UCrew 18.54 Just a passenger. Rode through Bus Wash.
9/13/02 15EVE *3 23.20-0.00 Swapped in for 3045.
9/20/02 15EVE *3 18.30-21.33 21.33 to end done by Firth.
9/30/02 11MID *2 11.09-12.00 Shift started 18 minutes behind schedule due to new driver. Made up 8 minutes of that during my loop--not an easy thing in the midday! Taken over by DS Gonzalez.
11/8/02 5PM 14.22-16.30 I didn't do it (see 3033 for 11/6/02)! Bus gets swapped out at 16.30 at the FAC due to service brakes which, when depressed take forever to let up, causing the bus to feel like it's driving in quicksand and sounding an intermittent transmission alarm. Head Mechanic McCulloch came out to service it and get it moving again. I was switched to 3041.
3041 9/12/02 5PM 14.22-18.46
9/15/02 1MID *2 11.35-15.41
9/25/02 12PM 14.21-14.50 Swapped out at 14.50 at the GRC by Gentry due to power steering fluid leak. Replaced by 3039.
9/29/02 1MID *2 11.35-15.41 Observed Frost, 14.31-15.41.
10/9/02 14PM 13.36-18.25 Observed Vinskey at 16.05.
11/8/02 5PM 16.30-18.46 Swapped in for 3040. The operator who brought the bus up from the Garage had put in the correct Work/Block, but had signed the bus for "Old Belchertown Road"--I fixed that before leaving the FAC, straightened out confused passengers. To get back on schedule, I turned around (as instructed, of course, at Amherst College). One cool-about-it passenger, was not able to be successfully transferred to shift 1PM which got ahead of me and he had to wait for the next southbound bus at Peter Pan/Amherst Common.
3042 9/18/02 14PM 13.36-18.52
10/19/02 11MID *3 10.11-14.41 Observed Reis at 11.27.
10/22/02 11MID 10.51-14.06
3043 9/17/02 3MID 12.36-13.52
10/2/02 14PM 13.36-18.25 Kneeling disabled; sucked for elderly passenger.
10/15/02 11MID 11.50-14.06 Covered an open partial shift.
11/7/02 4MID 11.01-12.52 Almost fully recovered from the past evening's incident (see 3033 for 11/6/02), I had signed up that previous night for this shift to get me going again--of course this is Route 31 instead.
11/21/02 PM 16.01 Just a passenger. Old Belchertown Road-bound bus, Carter at the wheel.
3044 10/20/02 1MID *2 11.35-15.41 First '93 I'd driven in a while! Almost wound up with 3035, but it was discovered that that bus was blocked.
10/22/02 2PM 16.06-18.46
10/23/02 1PM 18.23-19.12
3045 9/13/02 15EVE *3 19.52-23.20 Westover had the shift, 18.30-19.50 at the GRC. A minute late, I missed Westover at the GRC and wound up chasing it on my bike down the street to the FAC where I finally caught up and did my portion. There was a problem with a promised ride back to the Garage; got straightened out after some doing. Amherst Police Officer Jeff rode from 20.52-21.52 (on/off at Fine Arts Center). Swapped out at 23.20 at the GRC by RO Kevin due to roommate J. Allen's friends (also Transit employees, for sure) puking on the bus--could've been worse for a Friday the 13th! Replaced by 3040.
10/1/02 PM 13.30-14.30 Handled a bus swap. Swapped this bus in; took another one (unknown) back to Garage.
3046 12/11/02 14PM 13.36-18.17 For my last time driving this assigned shift all semester, they manage to give me a '93! No doubt, as you can see by its use, they've been hiding it :)
12/17/02 2AM 7.07-11.07 Come to find out, they've been hiding the '93's on Route 31 all semester, hmmm. Cover for Bishop who took the shift out of swap and then relisted it swap from assigned driver La Perry, who interestingly enough misses it so much, she catches it back to her apartment at the shift-change. Change to Hill.

For the Friday shift, the bus leaves the GRC at 21.50, drops off the Amherst Police Officer who's been riding for the hour at 21.52 at the FAC and continues on. The officer switches to the other Route 30 bus of shift 13EVE for the rest of the night. Continuing on, the bus services Amherst Center, Colonial Village and skips Amherst Medical (see *1) on it way to Old Belchertown Road, entering the looping Road from the other end. It then exits the Road and continues via Old Amherst Road to Belchertown Center where it sits and then heads back toward North Amherst (Puffton Village), making all local stops including Old Amherst Road, Old Belchertown Road and Colonial Village. The second combo loop runs about three hours  later.
The Saturday shift leaves from Hasbrouck at 10.11 and does one combo loop then and another about two hours later. The first combo loop does not service Amherst Medical (see *1).
